Maturity

I represented Maturity by a leaf or a tree.

The tree or leaf is to represent the tree of life which is Jesus Christ, He has come that we may have life, eternal abundant life, that bears fruit within us as we allow Jesus to have more and more control of us and our lives. This is how we mature as a Christian. When we believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus and follow Him exclusively and do what He wants us to do not what we want then we will mature. This is called dying to self and living for Christ. This new maturing relationship with God is characterized, by the production of fruit in our lives. This fruit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control.

Galatians 5:22-23 (NIV)  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Romans 6:22 (MSG) But now that you found that you don't have to listen to sin tell you what to do, and have discovered the delight of listening to God telling you, what a surprise! A whole, healed, put together life right now, with more and more life on the way!
