Metamorphosis

I represented Metamorphosis by a butterfly or a dragonfly.

A butterfly or dragonfly represents the change that God gives us when we give Him all of our brokenness. He exchanges our old sinful life for a new holy life. This metamorphosis or change is just like a butterfly or a dragonfly. We change from an ugly, selfish, crawling caterpillar, to a beautiful butterfly, or a larva in an ugly shell swimming in a pond to a dragonfly with beautiful wings, reflecting the God colors He gives us, and we soar on wings because He gives us the power and strength to get through life and because of the freedom He gives us from our old sinful nature. He changes us, heals us, makes us whole and gives us freedom.

2 Corinthians 3:16-18 (MSG) Whenever, though, they turn to face God as Moses did, God removes the veil and there they are - face to face! They suddenly recognize that God is a living, personal presence, not a piece of chiseled stone. And when God is personally present, a living Spirit, that old constricting legislation is recognized as obsolete. We're free of it! All of us! Nothing between us and God, our faces shining with the brightness of His face. And so we are transfigured much like the Messiah, our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become like Him.
